I imagine you are right regarding likelihood of sale given price and popularity 
of Gene Autry in 2012. However amongst my friends (many of whom think I'm the 
poster expert just because they know my passion) throughout the years more than 
one has shown me a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" or "King Kong" poster that they 
asked me about after they paid way to much money for it. The "original poster" 
was going to be a centerpiece in their kitchen or family room, only to have me 
give them bad news after the fact.

    I would like a more knowledgeable collector to confirm that the portion of 
the poster being shown is from the 1943 re-release rather than the original 
1937 release
