* Met with a news reporter
recently at our local downtown daily; his paper closed its ancient
research library and he gave me several movie-related books which I'll be
listing for cheap in the next few days. Keep in mind that
despite their limited circulation (for reporters only), these are
library reference books hence have all the markings and stampings
typical of such books. They are not mint and most are scholarly with no
pictures. Good for genre specific film buffs. See images below.
"THE FILM ENCYCLOPEDIA - THE WESTERN"
~~~
1929-1983.
Published by William Morrow, New York.
** Offered with NO RESERVE is a 1983 1st edition, 1st printing reference book,
"The Film Encyclopedia - The Western," published in 1983 by William Morrow in
New York. This is a LARGE and HEAVY (about 7-pounds), 400-page-book with no
dust jacket that's in very good condition with some loosening of the spine -
but with NO missing or torn pages, all of which are stitched firmly into the
binding. This one has photos on nearly EVERY page. The images below give you
an idea of what's inside. The color section is stitched into the center of the
book, but I've scattered the images in the collages below.
