I agree with you, he looks baby faced. It always is Tim Burton's intention to
color Depp's face white. Barnabas was never white. Having been a fan of the
series and owning all 1000+ episodes on DVD, I used to run home from school to
watch this every day. Johnny Depp has stated he did the same and is a HUGE fan.
Three of the stars from the original series make appearances including Jonathan
Frid. I am hoping this stays very close to the original series but I have yet
to see anything re-made that retains the quality of the original television
series, The Brady Bunch movies being possible exceptions. I am not keeping my
hopes up, but since Depp was such a fan of the original, all we can do is wait
and see.
