It's painful to assess Brek's losses in a fire that destroyed his property.
I hope that he gets some compensation, but frankly it will surprise me
if an insurance company will pony up for this -- particularly if Brek
is not the policyholder.
But I have a general comment. Here is an example of the gradual
attentuation of stocks of film collectibles OVER TIME. We are
now stewards of this kind of material -- and that is NOT intended
as a criticism of Brek. It's just a fact.
