Hi, Tom, from Joe-- It's a boot for sure. Says "1:33 aspect ratio" when the original was ultra-widescreen. I wouldn't want it as a gift. It's said that the original is still undergoing restoration for a (hopefully) later this year or early next proper release. I'd wait. Joe B in NOLA
