Here is how the conversation went down today:
Diana: Too bad Ray Ruggieri and Butch were not at Cinevent this year. I would
like to have seen them.
Mo: They were there!
Diana: What? I missed them.
Mo: They had a table right there in the main room downstairs, near Dick
Dearwester.
Diana: Uh oh. I walked by there at least three or four times. I have no
recollection of seeing them.
Mo: Well, they were there.
Ray! Butch! Did I walk right by you? Did I look right through you? How can
this be? These *!&^% Senior Moments of mine are getting to be a real pain.
Sorry I missed you guys. And I sure hope you did not think that I just rudely
walked by without stopping. Hope to see you again at some point. I have lots
of warm memories of our breakfast together in ....where were we? Chicago?
