There's a rather important line in one of Geraldine's posts that seems to have
slipped by:
(We) are told Heritage has a secure inventory and tagging process.
Now these are professional auctioneers, who correct any inaccuracies in your
inventory (if you've made one) when they point out a poster's a re-release not
a first run, or it's Spanish not Argentinian. They are the experts who confirm
that it's been received, correctly identified and accurately logged.
If it isn't, then there is an almighty business problem, and surely that
problem starts when a customer is told that such a 'secure' process is already
in place. Any disagreement after that is inevitably going to result in a 'he
said, she said' tussle.
