* Our current set of Sunday auctions began on * *June 3rd** and lasts for
TWO weeks, ending NEXT Sunday June 17th. It contains * * 998 GREAT bulk
lots & miscellaneous items of all types. * This is the first of our new
once a month "miscellaneous Sunday auctions" (which alternates with once a
month rolled one-sheet auctions) and because we wanted to start this off
with a real *BANG*, we absolutely loaded it with really great items of all
types!
What will you find in these auctions? Basically, *ANYTHING* and *EVERYTHING
* that doesn't fit in our "regular" auctions! So you *WON'T* find any
one-sheets, half-sheets, lobby cards, etc, but you *WILL* find pressbooks,
trade ads, program books, magazines, presskits, etc, etc. *THIS SET OF
AUCTIONS HAS A LOT OF REALLY COOL ITEMS *(some incredibly rare)* SO YOU
WILL BE GLAD TO HAVE AN EXTRA WEEK TO LOOK AT IT*, because you really
should look at *EVERY* item!
I want to call your attention to three special aspects of this auction:
1) We have many cool "bulk lots" just as our "old" Sunday auctions did, but
whereas those had 40 to 50 of them, these new once a month "miscellaneous
Sunday auctions" will have 150 to 200 bulks in each one! So if you like
getting a lot of items for one low, low price, you really need to check
these out!
2) We were consigned a really nice collection of great vintage toys and
movie-character related items (like glasses, watches, bath toys, etc) and
most of these are from memorable movies of the 1970s and 1980s! We have
listed around 50 of them in this week's Sunday auctions.
3) We auctioned a large collection of *MOVING PICTURE WORLD *exhibitor
magazines from the 1910s, and they mostly auctioned for $20 to $100 each. *
NOW*, we have been consigned a massive collection of bound volumes
containing nearly every issue from 1910 to 1920, and those bound volumes
are all in one *INCREDIBLE* lot, at the start of the listings! And we also
have a remarkable bound volume of 1941/42 Paramount pressbooks, and it
contains two of their very best movies ever, * THIS GUN FOR HIRE
*and*SULLIVAN'S TRAVELS
*!
*But enough comments! *You will be amazed how many cool items are in
this set of auctions, *and most amazingly of all *(as of this writing with
a week to go) *75% OF THESE ITEMS ARE $5 EACH OR UNDER* (and 60% are $1
each or have no bid!). This may be a time for incredible deals (or absolute
steals), *but you can't win if you don't bid, so go right now to
http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/4/15.html and start looking!*
