Victor rose to fame as one of Britains great comic character actors, best known in The Beatles films, but also cropping up in many Brit films and cameo roles opposite such greats as Peter Sellers as well as apearing with Burton and Taylor in The Taming of the Shrew. Mainly known as a stage actor Spinetti would crop up a lot in TV comedy shows such as Benny Hill, Les Dawson and many others.
