MoPo, Hey there. I wanted to ask just once more if anyone knew two things:
1. Does anyone have information--even a full name--on the MGM movie poster artist who signed his named "Eaton" in such posters as "The Cameraman", "Free and Easy", and "Doughboys"--those are just his Buster Keaton films. 2. If no, to above, then is there any ardent/intrepid Buster Keaton collectors/film fans anyone can forward my email and name to? It's okay if they are a tad obsessed about Keaton (I certainly am with Hirschfeld--and the Marx Brothers.) Thank you very much. -Daniel Kinske... [email protected] P.S.--I plan to go to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and other old film troves when I move to LA next month, so please let me know if anyone is looking for anything research or image wise and I'll add it to a list to take with me. I may not be able to get to a list of 100 things, but can certainly photocopy 3-5 images for a person while I am there to save you a trip, I love it there. I also meet a lot of reclusive collectors with lots of old bound film magazines (Motion Picture Heralds/News, etc.) and with their permission would also shoot an image of whatever might be pertinent. Have a great weekend--go see a movie (but it better be an old one--"The Artist" is an exception ;) Visit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: [email protected] In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
