You could google the business name and also the persons name and see
whats out there.. also ART business news is a trade paper and perhaps
they would have some history... also check the bbb of NYC and see if
any issues wheremade and search the legal news of NYCand see if any
litigation...also you could see the street address do a mapquest and
ask neighbor businesses what they may know... Dunn and Bradstreet
does that and is how they get info on businesses... also  simply ask
the guy for like 4 references, his bankand then ask the vendors about
his dealings... the bank also could offer some history... Hope that
