MoPo 24-sheetophiles,

It is a beautiful poster--an ultimate poster to "remember" for John Wayne
enthusiasts (and who isn't to some degree? "Mount up!")

My biggest move poster regret was not giving all I had to try to obtain the "A
Day at the Races" Marx Brothers 24-sheet. It went for over $9,000, but since
it was the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences (AMPAS) that bought it,
they probably could have went double, etc.

But, yeah still regretting not having 9 feet by 24 feet of stone-lithograph Al
Hirschfeld artwork. However, if it gets displayed in their forthcoming new
museum, then a lot more people than just me get to enjoy seeing it.

Still, so rare to see, I hope it gets photographed for a future John Wayne or
poster book (and having been to San Antonio, I think the poster might be as
long as the actual Alamo ;)

Happy Friday the 13th :)
