Thanks, Dave. He would tell me to meet him at some trendy LA restaurant,
and I would walk in the door and this booming voice would shout out "Bruce
Hershenson", and everyone in the place would turn to look at me (and him)
and there would be lots of people there who knew him, and he would discuss
them loudly and in ways that sometimes made me wince.

But those lunches were always fascinating. He was always starting some new
project, and I would ask him what happened to the last one and he would
launch into attacks on those who sabotaged it, but he was always sure this
new one would succeed!
