A few months ago, Richard Akers from Virginia, who for many years sold
all of us movie posters through his website, on EBAY, and Movie Collector's
World passed away. His wife is ready to liquidate the inventory of his
business. I became very good friends with Richard and visited him frequently.
The family has asked me to help them in this liquidation. At present, there is
a numerical count of the items to be sold. This material covers titles from
the 50s to the early 2000's. The bulk of the material is one sheets and three
sheets. There are no pressbooks but over 1000 lobby cards and a few stills.
The titles are representative of the time period. Condition ranges from good
to excellent. Think of this collection as being stored in a old theater,
placed on shelves after the movie played. In other words, very few are
linenbacked, not much in plastic, just piles ready to be added to someone's
collection. Yes, the good old days. His wife would like to find a buyer for
the whole collection. If anyone may be interested, I can give you some more
