Hi Kids -

(EMAIL FOR PIX)

I was just consigned a rather unusual piece.

Size is appx. 10 x 18 inches.

Part of the piece is an art dept. stat, but images of the stars are photographs
cut and pasted on to background stat -
Title elements over the photos are hand-painted in white.

My thoughts are that this is a photo mock-up of the key-art for an alternative
campaign which included comic notes in addition to the images.

Am wondering if anyone has a different or supporting take on the issue.
Also - if anyone has the SOME LIKE IT HOT pressbook - would you please take a
look through it and see if this alternative campaign made it to the pressbook
stage.
If not, then I am guessing it was a preliminary that didn't go father.
If it did make it to the pressbook, then I would guess that this is the
original key art for that campaign imagery.

Have collected pressbooks for over 50 years, but have never seen original art
for one.
So if anyone can log in on this - info is most appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time and expertise.
Have more pix if you need to see them.
This unusual piece is also for sale if anyone is interested.
