>wow that 1911 Motion picture world with a ad for a powers
cameragraph and studio History Of Imp, and thanhouser and more,,,
really turns my crank.. the studion Magazines and books are so cool
as they had inside tidbits you find nowehere and they are actually
from the time printed.. So we get to go back in time and read just
what the exhibitors read. with all the news of the Day... I love
poster art but Ive been really into the projection books and Studio
inside promotional material... the stuff that the people that made
movies and exhibited them read...MGM Roar was one.. MGM did things so
grand,, and RKO , Universal Paramount, Columbia.. Warner Bros..
all Good stuff... the motion picture herald, WIDS , motion picture
weekly, showman review, the Exhibitor, Boxoffice,Motion picture daily,
there was many plus the Movie mags that feature great art covers ,
ads, photos and article..
Its really fun to seee these and study the past work of the pioneers
of the industry.. someones going to get some great deals on Bruces
auction.. this stuff rarely surfaces.. Good luck everyone/
