But we also have lots of news this week.....
We are changing the auction format on MoviePosterBid starting this week.
Starting with the auction of Belgian posters that begins tonight, we
are going to a 14 day auction format. However, we will still have
40-45 auctions this year! While all auctions will now be 14 days,
each auction will overlap the previous week's auction by 7 days, so
we'll have 2 auctions running most weeks.
Facts are that unlike those other auction houses, we are just 3
people at MoviePosterBid and we have other business interests that
require our time, like for instance, our comic book and comic art
auction website www.comicbidz.com where you'll find lots of great
comics related collectibles from Golden Age comics & comic art to
Pulps, Big Little Books and other cool items.
At the same time, because we are reducing our poster auction schedule
somewhat, we are eliminating lots of the lower quality material we
sell, which means we're going to be selling more higher quality
posters and also, more bulk lots as we clear out lots of material we
will no longer be selling as single posters.
This change begins tonight when we list the Belgian poster auction,
which you can see a Preview Gallery of at the link posted above.
Our next auction will be Bulk Lots and Miscellaneous items that do
not fit into our regular auctions including Trade Ads, Magazines,
Theatre Heralds, 8x10 Stills (mostly in bulk lots), German Programs
and lots of other material. This auction will begin next week on Weds
the 13th and end on the 27th.
Meanwhile, we hope you'll take the time to visit and bid on the items
that end today. As of this email, almost 200 items are still under
$2.00 and there will be a great many bargains for collectors.
