This attitude is ubiquitous, Dave. I had a call from a guy who had "an original 
"Wizard of Oz" poster. I told him it was a Portal, but he insisted in meeting 
with me to show me the poster. At that meeting, even after I pointed out that 
there were no zip codes in the U.S. until the early 60s (Portal's zip is on all 
their posters, and I believe they are still in business doing other graphic 
stuff), he indignantly said, "Well, my uncle said it was real. I don't care 
what YOU say! I'll sell it myself."
There is no cure in sight for stupidity. Thanks for the story.
