Yep, can't see that image running anywhere except maybe France.

Unless using the well-worn tactic of running a poster with the intention of
getting it banned for the resulting publicity.

This one seems unrealistic, and can't find available for sale:

Presumably a good image for blogs, but when it comes to the real thing no
way it's not going to have Brad Pitt's very expensive head on it.

Doubted this one, but appears to be available, so presumably a
genuine/traditional teaser:

Glad I don't have the challenge of having to get into the heads of the
younger collectors, but if there's a pattern of studios issuing online
images along with rare limited print runs could be viable I guess.

Last time I bought a new poster it was a Pulp Fiction Lucky Strikes.
Fortunately one of the "Property of Miramax" ones, and quit while I was
ahead : )

I think not to any degree in the US or Canada. I don't know about Europe.
This poster seemed to pop up about the time the first "red-band" trailer was
released on-line. I got mine at Sony/Columbia where they had some early
publicity materials, though I never saw it on display in the poster boxes
that they have around the studio. They had the more discreet advance. While
GWTDT was filmed in Sweden, Norway and Switzerland, significant interiors
were done on Hollywood soundstages.

Hi Phillip,

Got to admit I'm lost on the new stuff, though imagine this has appeal to
newer collectors. Noticed a double-sided on eBay with BIN of 200+.

And on Allposterforum saw that someone got stung with a fake from someone in
Rochester (no, not him unless another outlet).

Seems to be the practice now to release advance posters online to drum up
interest, would this have genuinely "run" to any degree?

Someone is asking me for a poster for "the uncensored version" of THE GIRL

Can anyone enlighten me on this? Is there such a poster? Is there such a
release? And if there is such a poster, do any of you have one?
