Freeman has it right. Define "winner", "home run", and "strike outs".
If home run means box office, pretty sure the king is James Cameron. He is probably the only director who could go to any studio and get a nearly unlimited check written. -----Original Message----- From: Bruce Hershenson [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Sunday, March 3, 2013 06:11 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [MOPO] Questions for those of you who REALLY know your movies In baseball, percentage is everything. A batter who gets a hit one out four times for an entire season is barely hanging on, while one who gets a hit one out of three times is a major star, and there has never been a player who gets a hit once every two times! Likewise, a team that wins four out of ten games is usually in last place, while a team that wins six out of ten teams is usually in first place! So my question is, which MOVIE DIRECTORS (among the superstars) have the greatest percentage of "winners vs losers"? And which ones have the greatest percentage of "home runs"? And which ones (among the superstars) have the highest percentage of "strike outs"? Now of course it HAS to be a percentage game, because some directors did 20 movies and some did 100. If the person with 20 has two losers, then the guy with 100 is entitled to ten (by my way of thinking!). Answers? -- Bruce Hershenson and the other 29 members of the eMoviePoster.com team P.O.
