Sorry to hear that...when I first starting collecting, Deke was the very first person I called when I received my very first issue of MCW. He spent an hour on the phone with me giving me pointers, other contacts, and people who I should stay away from - you know like Kirby, Bruce, Grey - kidding guys...and thinking back he had given me the A, B, C's of collecting horror and sci-fi.
I bought a few posters from him over the years and all were of exceptional quality because that's the type of guy he was.
