Well one of the "scandals" of 1942 was Shirley Temple having her
first on-screen adult kiss with co-star Dickie Moore in Miss Annie
Rooney, which is pictured on some of the posters for the film. I
believe that they are both still alive, as is June Lockhart who was
another of the teenagers.

Re: the recent surviving stars discussion, I thought it'd be
interesting to try and discover which films/paper go the furthest
back where the two leads are both still alive. One that springs to
mind is 1948's "Letter To An Unknown Woman" with Louis Jourdan and

Can anyone think of a film with a still-alive coupling that
predates this?
It's a bit of a cheat, but if one considers 1935's A Midsummer
Night's Dream to be a pure ensemble, then the continuing existence
of Mickey Rooney & Olivia de Havilland could be argued to set the
bar at 78 years:

What a terrific poster! Do these ever come up, does anyone on MOPO
have one?
This game gets even more difficult if one also has to factor-in the
two supporting actors, because you then (obviously) have to find
films where all four leads are still around. I thought 1965's The
Sound Of Music a possibility: Julie Andrews, Christopher Plummer,
Eleanor Parker....but I need to be allowed Charmian Carr (Lisle) as
the 4th. But really, as the poster tells us, it should be the late
Richard Haydyn.....
