I don't understand why so many auction houses make you "sign in" to see their results. I don't get the point in it. I imagine *SOME *people register just for that reason, so it may get them a few extra "registered bidders", but what does that prove? And aren't there many others who click away from the site rather than register, so how can that be good.
I could understand this if those sites were charging a fee to join, because then they would not want to give their information away "for free". But since there is no fee for registering, that can't be the reason. And this is *NOT *just "closed auctions".
