I'm sure you can drop that article in any summer of the past several years and next year also. Some big-budget movies underperform, some made money, some stars had a movie that didn't live up to their expectations, some did just as they expeccted, they release too many in a limited timeframe, studios need to remember minorities, and foreign box-office is becoming more important. Anything I'm forgetting? Pretty standard stuff.

I finally got to see this movie yesterday and although it's been out for a while, it is utterly refreshing. Good cast too. Steve Carrell plays the UNsympathetic character for once and Alllison Janney is great. All the cast is good, in a warm and funny film with just enough edge! Liam James is great as the kid! So if you're as tired of the bloat the Big Hollywood execs should be after a disppointing summer of mediocre box office, see this movie.
