What a selfless gesture! I was going to advertise it on MOPO but I get so weary
of the barrage of ads on MOPO that i didn't want to add to the deluge. It
actually was won by a member of this group, who shall remain nameless, who
said, "You can probably get more for this. Go ahead and relist it". What a
sweet thing to do.
I am often blown away at the generosity and good will among the people in this
group. I have sold most of the gems in my collection, due to a serious downturn
in the music business. Lessons are down 60% from two years ago. Things ARE
getting better, and I look forward to rebuilding my collection....ah, the
thrill of the hunt!
The MUMMY piece is a stunner. i compared it to an original (whose owner
took a whole day off to show me his collection. He prefers to remain anonymous,
but...what a great human being.) They look EXACTLY the same. I detest having to
sell this bad boy, but my wife deserves a nice Christmas gift this year, and
that's where this money is going. She;s the real gem in my life.
Thank you, Dave. What an unexpected bit of kindness to spice up my day.
Whatever the poster sells for...if it sells...that's it. It retails for $350.
I've seen it sell for $450. We'll see!!!
