*Part I of our December Major Auction
<http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/15.html>* ends Sunday beginning at 3:00
CST (very soon!), and, at current bid prices, this is the best buying
opportunity in many years!
I don't think of posters in terms of "investments", but absolutely
many of the items in all five parts of the December Major Auction are the
bluest of "blue chips", the kinds of items that lots of collectors dream
about owning, and which infrequently come up for sale or auction. *If they
can be purchased for any kind of reasonable price, they are sure to rise in
value over the coming years.*

 <http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/15.html>Take the 292 items in * Part
I <http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/15.html>*, with its single owner
collection of 1950s horror/sci-fi. If this collection were kept intact, the
new owner would overnight have one of the finest such collections, and with
the addition of a dozen items at most, they would have as good as a
collection as exists. The same can be said of the items in the other parts,
except they cover a wide range of collecting interests.

Of course, most of the bidding in each part will take place on the
afternoon or evening when the auctions close, and remember that we have
time extended bidding (meaning 5 minutes must go by without a bid), which
ensures that you can't have an item snatched away from you, but which makes
it very hectic if you are bidding on several items that close in a short
time.

*SHOULD CONDITION MATTER?* In *EVERY* other collectible (coins, stamps,
baseball cards, comic books, etc, the condition grade of an item plays a
*HUGE* role in determining its value (an item that is in "good" condition
might sell for one hundredth of the price of that same item in "near mint"
condition.

But this has never been very true at all in the movie poster hobby, and
while I can understand it to the extent that many "older" posters are
incredibly rare, and only a handful or a dozen are known to exist, so it is
hard to "hold out" for top condition. But on posters from the 1950s on,
there are surely hundreds of each known to exist (with some notable
exceptions) so in those cases *SHOULDN'T* the best known condition examples
sell for a significant premium?

 The 292 items in * Part I
<http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/15.html> *contain
an astounding 28 items in "fine" condition (*OUR* "fine", which compares
favorably with most auctions "mint"!), and it also contains another 124
items in "very good to fine" condition (*OUR* "very good to fine", which
compares favorably with most auctions "near mint"!. *YES, OVER HALF OF THE
AUCTION IS IN REALLY WONDERFUL CONDITION!*

*At current bid prices (as of this writing, with around a day to go) all of
these items range from low retail to below wholesale* (there are actually
21 items under $15, and most of those are complete sets of eight lobby
cards!). Of course, much of the bidding in each part will take place on the
afternoon or evening when the auctions close, and remember that we have
time extended bidding (meaning 5 minutes must go by without a bid), which
ensures that you can't have an item snatched away from you, but which makes
it very hectic if you are bidding on several items that close in a short
time.

But *EVERY* set of auctions we get some anguished emails from people who
"forgot to bid", and on those items the winners got great buys, so there is
every chance *YOU* can get some wonderful items from this amazing
collection, but you can't get them if you aren't bidding, so why not check
them out right now at
*http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/1/15.html*<http://www.emovieposter.com/agallery/sort/1/15.html>?
Best of luck to those of you who bid (and I urge you to have some
flexibility in what you go after, because you may be outbid on some items,
and it would be great to have second and third choices to fall back on!).

*IMPORTANT!* If you have any questions about anything connected to this
auction, feel free to call me directly on our hotline number at
417-256-5555(during regular business hours). *YOU
CAN ALSO CALL ME ON THIS NUMBER AS EACH OF THE PARTS ARE CLOSING,* which
will be of great benefit if you have a computer problem, a power failure,
or whatever. I am here to help you in any way I can, before, during, and
after the auctions. We give *TRUE* customer service to everyone who buys
from us, as you well know, because you are one of our past customers, and
we don't judge our customers by how much money they spend with us. We give
everyone the same "gold standard" quality of customer service, whether they
spend $10 or $10,000!

Good luck on whatever you may bid on in our current auctions ending
on *December
1st, 3rd, 5th, & 8th! *Remember to look at all of the items in our great
December Major Auction as they close over the next 9 days (in five parts)!*
It is absolutely the very best auction we have run in at least 15 years,
and maybe 20 years and it is not to be missed!*
