we are still in the process of importing members, but we are of
course working from most recent members/most recent logins backward
to those who have not logged in for a while
You can register & if you are a previously registered member who
hasn't been by in a while, when we import the remaining data, such as
bid history, as long as you used the same email address we will have
no problem merging your account
We are of course still working on new modules and expect to be
continually upgrading the system for.. well.. forever!
The new site is going to be feature rich and have many modules that
we've been wanting for a long time.
Among the new features:
* Sort Functions for poster listings: this feature never worked
on the old site, but it will on the new site.
* Searchable invoices for winning bidders: You'll be able to pay
for your successful auction wins direct from "My Area". No more
having to wait for shipping quotes
* Auction Grid with thumbnail images that links to auctions with
current high bid information
* Searchable Sold Auctions Archive: Want to know what we've sold
and how much it went for? You'll be able to see our auction results
with a quick search and easy sort functions
* New Contact Forms to get in touch with us
* Shipping Rates Map: Couldn't figure out what your costs might
be before you bid? Look at the map and see your zone!
* Easily Delete Auctions In Your Bid History or Watchlist: this
was time consuming on the old site. It won't be on the new site
* Many other features will be installed during the coming months as well
After We Install the Site...
The first thing that we'll be doing is importing the member database.
This will take a bit of time as we'll be entering the members list
100 members at a time so we can look for problems as we import the users.
As the members get imported to the new system, and email will be
automatically generated and sent to you notifying you that you have
been imported and it will include a link to the website for you to logon
In all likelihood, you will have to reset your password.
If you are having any trouble, please ask the system to email you
your data by entering your email address and you will receive your
login information. Be sure to use the email address that you
currently have in our system.
Do you have more than one registered account?
Sorry.. the new system will not allow multiple signups. When we
import the usernames, we may ask you which account you prefer to
maintain as your bidding account. We will see if we can merge any bid
history you have into the one.
Will My Bid History Be Available On the New Site?
Yes, but not immediately.
We need to edit the auctions database in order to import the sold
auctions. It will actually require a considerable amount of manual
editing and we have sold more than 100,000 items since we began our
auctions. However we will be importing them starting with the more
recent auctions first and working backwards. Unfortunately, this will
probably be March before the data has been imported, so we'll have a
temporary solution for you if you need to see your bid history:
You'll still be able to access the old website via a secondary link
until we have completed the data transfers
More Updates Will Be Installed During the Coming Months
We are planning on adding many new features not yet available on the site

* Articles by Well-Known Authors in the Movie Business
* Suggestion Polls: Help us add stuff you want!
