Alot of stars have passed but this tugs at the heart strings...she was pure
innocence and delight on screen.. you couldn't be changing the channels on
your tv and come across a shirley temple movie and not stop and watch some
of it..and then in later life when she developed breast cancer I remember
my reaction Oh no that doesn't happen to people like that and she was was
so open about discussing it ..it was breast cancer out of the
closet....when TCM honors her i'll be watching..Hmm never could find which
cruise line had the good ship lollipop...Alan
