this 1950s deluxe 11x14 still of *GRACE
KELLY* with a wonderful portrait by Clarence Sinclair Bull! Studios made
hundreds of 8x10 photos for most movies, and sent many tens of thousands of
them to theaters all over the world. But they also made a very limited
number of 11x14 photos (often on deluxe paper) and they often hired
wonderful photographers to take those photos, and often the photographer is
credited on the back of the still!

There are also *28 rare campaign books* (they are lots 7x017 to 7x045).
Many have wonderful ads and some will sell for hundreds of dollars!

this 7x018 *RKO
RADIO PICTURES 1933-34 campaign book*. It contains a 4-page Son of Kong
foldout ad, a Flying Down to Rio two-page pop-up and much, much more! From
the late 1910s to the mid-1960s studios would publish incredibly elaborate
"yearbooks" (also called campaign books) and they would have full-color
previews of their upcoming movies and they were sent to theater owners to
try to get the theaters to book those movies. The studios spent more money
creating these ads than they did on the art for the posters and often some
of those ads did not appear anywhere else and quite often they were for
films that were never made (or which ended up being made with different
stars)!

There are also *74 rare exhibitor magazines* (they are lots 7x046 to
7x119). Many have great ads, but are currently at very low prices!

this *EXHIBITORS
HERALD WORLD exhibitor magazine*. What makes *THIS *issue especially
wonderful is that for this issue MGM paid to insert their entire 1929/30
yearbook into it, and that yearbook is one of the best (and most rare)
there is! In the 1910s to 1960s weekly and monthly "exhibitor magazines"
were published (with names like "Moving Picture World" and "Box Office")
and they were sent to theater owners and they contained lots of info about
current movies, but more importantly the studios would place elaborates ads
in them, to try to get the theaters to book those movies, and some of those
ads did not appear anywhere else!

There are also 517 * pressbooks*, which often auction for less than the
cost of a single scene lobby card from that same movie! See just the 517
pressbooks here:

this cool *SUPERMAN
& THE MOLE MEN pressbook*, for the feature film that inspired the classic
TV show with George Reeves! The studios would create a "pressbook" for
every movie from the early 1910s to the early 1970s and they would send
them to theaters to try to get them to book the movies. They are of special
interest to collectors because, in addition to having much publicity about
the movie (and a cool illustrated cover) they also showed images of most of
the posters made for the movie, and often many of those have never been
seen!

There are also 171 p*resskits*. See just the 171 presskits here:

this cool *JURASSIC
PARK presskit* which has 29 stills, including color ones showing dinosaur
f/x models! Presskits which were promotional packets sent to theaters
containing 8x10 photos plus brochures about the movie and its stars, all in
a printed folder. Yet they sometimes auction for less than the value of the
stills alone!

If *YOU *are a collector who solely collects movie posters or lobby cards,
you *REALLY *should consider adding some of these other cool kinds of
collectibles to your collection! They sometimes are the only way to get an
original item from a scarce movie, and sometimes they sell at extreme
bargain prices when compared to posters or lobby cards from the same
titles! Please look at all these *912 pressbooks, presskits, studio
yearbooks, exhibitor magazines, deluxe 11x14s and more * out sometime
before they begin to close Sunday at 3 PM CST at
