Physician, heal thyself...

So I did.

One of the biggest things I have often said to everyone here about web design (well those who care to listen!) is that you must have a website that is mobile ready, now that doesn't just mean it can be 'viewed' on a mobile - it means it is designed for and/or can be 'converted' to FIT PROPERLY on a mobile screen (and is readable!) - there is a big difference. The consumer is becoming more and more mobile, in fact the phrase "m-commerce" is now something that you be conscious of, it's not the latest fad, it is the way of the world. Remember, it's up to YOU to make the shopping experience easy for your client, plain and simple: they don't have the patience to stick around if you don't (remember that bounce rate article I posted a while back?).

Fortunately is is a matter of course that we have been building websites that are mobile friendly as standard (including Sue Heim's new website <http://www.hollywoodposters.com/>) but, when it came to my own humble 4 year old hobby poster website well, I was tardy... But I am pleased to say a new one is now up and running. We've upgraded the website, added some new features, made some minor design changes that keeps it modern, yet familiar. It's also mobile, so you can take us with you when you go out! Now, we're still 'tweaking, so please bear with me if you find a 'mistake'...

Don't forget to check out the Info & Research section (from the main menu), every movie trailer for every Academy awarded Best Picture is available for viewing...

We are also in the process of adding several hundred titles over the coming week (or so) - if you want to know about them before the casual surfer finds them click here to subscribe to Vintage Movie Posters updates by email <http://feedburner.google.com/fb/a/mailverify?uri=com/BdyL&loc=en_US>.

Thanks and regards
