I'm not a fan of rolled Halloween 1-sheets. I just think there are way too many
out there for them to be authentic. I posted this before and many people chimed
in and convinced me that they do exist.
Ok. So I find one for sale on eBay. Listed as "27x41 rolled authentic". Photo
looks good. I contact the buyer and ask that if it's not authentic can I return
it for a refund. He answers back "no problem, all of my posters are authentic."
So I receive the poster, measure it, and it comes up exactly 27x40!!!! I was
pissed.
So I contact the buyer that day and asked for a refund and sent it back to him.
He signed for it 4 days ago, no refund, and won't answer my email. So I
initiate a complaint resolution through eBay and under the description I type
"reproduction".
He contacts me about 1-hour later telling me it's authentic, I'm wrong, and
that he himself pulled it down from the theatre display after the movie was
done back in 1979.
I simply replied that a rolled 1970's 27x40=fake; and that he should have
stated the correct measurements.
He initiated a refund to my PayPal but did not include my return shipping cost
which I specifically asked him to do since he caused the issue by stating the
incorrect measurements.
So my question to MOPO:
What should I write as a review for this seller?
