Holiday Affair is the classic 1949 Don Hartman romantic love triangle
Christmas holiday familiy comedy ("Baby, you're just what I want for
Christmas!"; "Here's a romantic Yule-tide treat that'll take your heart for
a merry sleigh ride - Mitchum playing 'Santa' to a lovely young widow! And
wait'll he finds out the mistletoe's loaded!"; "A doll that says 'Yes
Darling' That's what Robert Mitchum

Christmas... but Janet Leigh

shock that lasts right through New Year's Eve!"; "Aah, that Mitchum's a
softie... Always kissin' girls!"; "...and it's my girl he's kissin'!";
"Mitchum's Latest!"; "It happens in December...but it's hotter than July!";
"Mitchum in a new king of role"; if you want to know what is missing in
modern movies, see this one!) starring Robert Mitchum

<http://www.emovieposter.com/auctions/person.php?q=22284>, Wendell Corey

Griff Barnett, and Harry Morgan
<http://www.emovieposter.com/auctions/person.php?q=162645>The regular one-sheet poster has a yellow background, and it definitely does not convey the idea of the movie. They also created this completely different one-sheet, with a completely different image, showing Mitchum grabbing a sexy Leigh, with the tagline "It happens in December ...but it's hotter than July!", and this poster has a dark blue and black background. Is it a "style B", or something made at the last minute, or even an earlier "teaser" poster? This poster also does not convey the movie well, but it is completely different than all the other posters for the movie, and is far more desired by collectors! This is one of the 388 linenbacked one-sheets that start July 6th in Part I of our July Major Auction!
