Asphalt Jungle can be remedied with either the Italian poster very nice or the elusive Spanish 1 sheet which is a real humdinger.

A film noir poster that really should be a top seller when found is the German poster for Highway 301 (1959) featuring a manical looking Steve Cochran aptly named Der Panther.

Film Noir is such a wide subjective range. Personally I have sold many but I cannot say over the years multiples - the one I think was the best was the UK Quad for To Have and to Have Not...arguably the best paper on the film.

One that I get requested the most is Out of the Past one sheet - possibly the best image of Mitchum ever.

But does Blade Runner enter into the fray? - okay it's Sci Fi but it was filmed in the noir style - for me this is the poster I have sold the most that can be deemed a noir film.

Does 12 Angry Men sneak into the noir genre? If so I have sold a few of them.

One that doesn't do me any favours yet the film is a noir classic is The Asphalt Jungle - not an inspiring poster.

I do like the Veronica Lake titles as well such as This Gun For Hire - that does float my boat.

Hello, MoPoers

I am a huge fan of THE GOLDEN ARE OF FILM NOIR !

A possible interesting question and hence exercise?  What are the FIVE most popular posters of movies from this genre and period that you have sold?

Many thanks, John of http://www.movienut.co.uk/
