The last time we had a "multiple stills" auction, it contained 10, 427,
which was the most we had ever auctioned, and now *we are currently
auctioning 9,761 total stills in this set of auctions which is awfully
close to last time!* Remember that these are in 999 lots, so there are
around 10 stills per lot. Since each one starts at one dollar with no
reserve or buyers premium, you may truly get to buy stills for ten cents
each or less!
And yet, even though these include many wonderful stills (with lots from
the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s, and also many from classic movies from the
1970s on!), the prices on many of them are really hard to believe! With two
days to go, the *999 lots of vintage 8" x 10" stills* include 426 items at
$1 or with no bids (43%), 464 items at $2 or less (46%), 499 items at $3 or
less (50%), 566 items at $4 or less (57%), and 629 items at $5 or less
(63%)! *SINCE ALL OF THESE CONTAIN AT LEAST TWO STILLS, AND MANY ARE LARGE
SETS (with hundreds of lots containing 20 or more stills each), THAT MEANS
MANY ARE JUST PENNIES PER STILL!* Of course, there are still two days to
go, and there will likely be many more bids, but there may be great buys,
and you can't get those unless you bid!
