actually Bruce I suggested you to the collector and I would tell ohers
to considr you.. you are a kind gentleman and have always offered advice
and your poster sales history helps to see what titles sell for...
Today My doctor said what you are Tom Is a facilitator... I thought
ok... while in the waiting Room I received a phone call from Steven
Wilson who is a author and curator of te l\Abraaam Lincoln museum in
Harrogate Tenn... I had supplied them witha repro 35mm hand crank camera
I make fora Lincol film perspective... he had told me that Dreamworkds
never donated anything from The Lincoln film to them... well so I called
Dreamworks and he called today to tell me they had donated several
wardrobe items from the film to theLincoln Collction.... I realized at
that moment what I have wanted to do in the Movie memorabilia
business... is preserve History, inspire peopel and esp Kids.., honor
the peopel that have worked in the bussiness and most of all share all
this...for those that cannot afford a high priced poster I want to share
as many reproductions, and books and magazines as possible so that every
person that likes cinema can share in its experience.... I love every
aspect of the creation, display, exhibition... My big thrill is seeng
audiaence have a group experience of Joy, concern, heartfelt memories
and tears from the experienece... I love the smell of popcorn miss when
it was a true epic adventure with fine theaters and ushers and even
whenat drive ins we had countless Cartoons.... I love wehn I saw
pictures in cinerama or cinemascope and the curved screen the analog
sound from huge voice of the theater cabinets. and so much more,, the
poster art is a great time capsule but seeing the cameras that filmed it
really gets me..
so Today I saw clearer that I can help network peopel to help raise
funds for causes useing the memorabilia itself,,, and at same time help
collectors know that the collecton is in good hands and not in a box in
some guys closet..reminds me of the famous raiders shot in the
warehouse..... no.... its cool peopel want a rare poster on the wall...
andd its OK they want to invest,, but I like what John Kisch has done
and built a touring exhibit and I want to help make this stuff availible
for each to see and witness... thats why I am excited about the Lucas
Museum.... as soon w will all be gone... and nobody will care that you
bought or sold a million posters or the highest price poster... they
wont even remeber you otherwise.. who was the richest person in 1929???
doesnt matter... what matters to me is how many dreams I can make
happen before I croak...actually I feel like one of he richest men in
the world right now because something happened that will help many not
about me.. but i do have to pay elec bills and my roofs leaking so I am
trying to make some money so I can afford to give away as much time and
ideas as ever... so thats why i am selling stuff,, to be self sufficient
and pay it forward...so I hope some of you will get me business....
actually I thought about Rich and thought that perhaps Bruce could
process the goods,, that way both would benifit as Bruce seems to have
the process and employees there...
with me...I also deal in film gear, films and anything related to movies
period sowith the exception I need to heal a foot I am getting ready to
be able to help in anyway and I can hire movers,,:) so i just need more
time to heal.... but I am amazed so far.... Now if Paul Mccartney will
meet my doctor this week in sandiego that would be a awesome time for
him as hes a major beatle fan and knows so much about them and is
goingthere,, I wish I could makethat happen for him..... he did get to
see David Letterman so it could happen...:) i sent a messege to his
Guitarist rusty anderson... and i signed up for meat free Mondays for
Paul..:)

ARE YOU A MOVIE POSTER DEALER WHO IS "POSTER RICH" BUT "CASH POOR"?
Why not join the hundreds of other movie poster dealers (including a
LOT of you reading this!) who have sent ALL or MOST of their slowest
moving inventory to us at eMoviePoster.com and we will turn those
unwanted posters into cold hard cash!
Now we won't get you your retail prices for those posters (and as you
well know, no one can, except by selling them one by one over many
years) but we WILL get you far more than ANY dealer or auction house
could, and we will do it far faster, because we auction more posters
in a year than any auction house or dealer sells in a lifetime.
But one warning: If you send totally "bottom of the barrel" items,
then those items will have to go into "bulk lots", so only send those
if that is OK with you. But otherwise, we will TAKE EVERYTHING you
choose to send, no matter how much "lesser" they are, so you can use
this as a chance to really "clean house"!
Go to HTTP://WWW.EMOVIEPOSTER.COM/LEARNMORE/?PAGE=CONSIGN [1] to read
our simple terms, and in no time at all you can be getting rid of the
"fat" in your inventory! If you have been meaning to do this for some
time, but simply "have not gotten around to it", why not send your
first package off this week? Most of our consignors quickly get
"hooked" on consigning (because they do NO work other than getting the
posters to us, and in addition to "trimming the fat" they get their
life back!) and often they keep consigning until they have nothing
worthwhile left to send!
