I’m not certain what constitutes a “major” auction house but I guarandamntee that if you called Grey Smith up and said that the item you bought at any point was not authentic he would make it right immediately.

Secondly, your guarantee is not that the buyer will never get a wrongly attributed poster from EMP (as seems to be what is being said here), but that if they do and either you or the buyer recognises that at some point of time then you will offer a full refund.
