What is it about the German Metropolis - I'd much rather take Morries Lobby
Card collection - almost every significant lobby card you can mention -
including Metropolis - I can think of a bunch of posters that are more
appealing than German Metropolis.

said the Academy would buy GrandHotel because they owned one sheets for every
AA winning film exceptCavalcade and Grand Hotel. We brought a selection of the
posters out toL.A. and the AA sent over several people to look at the poster. A

I think you might be right about that.

I think that some museums would be very interested in obtaining thecollection
but I doubt they could come up with the money.

My guess is that if it sells, it will be a foreign buyer and thematerial will
never see the light of day.

Would be interested to know what the view is on whether, if thissells, it's
likely to stay complete or be broken up.

Having witnessed the collection in the flesh as such I don't thinkI'd argue on
the size - as Morrie says at least one item from every film- that says a lot!

It is certainly an amazing collection but is it actually the“World’s
largest Collection of Movie Posters”? I would beinterested if members of MoPo
might have some thoughts on this.Obviously, quality should be taken into
account but there certainly aresome huge collections of movie posters amongst
dealers around the world, although not sure if any would rival Morris
Everett’s collection.

What do you think? Is this actually the “World’s largestCollection of Movie
Posters”?
