sorry abou that experience Greg- when I became ill I worried I wouldbe
late also and took a laptop tothe hos[ital , then asked my son too
pack... at the time he didnt understand my work ethic and would say dont
worry dad Ill ship it the next day... well he put the labels on wrong
customer and I about had another heart attack...so I cancelled my ebay
stor until I could run it again myself.. meanwhile my son learned the
hard and best way by experience to ship prompt or face the wrath of ebay
and customers who want it yesterdy witha Bow and a candy mint... so to
redeem yourself.. I sugegest start with etsy and craigslist and get
your feet wet and build up a following.. do some small sales before you
get aggresive and most of all take care of people, prompt..It can be
very hard with doctor appts and having real jobs... so paceing is
paramount... also consider having BRuce or Rich sell your stuff.. fiure
30-50% as they will need to list . pack and collect the funds...Or sell
in Bulk for cash to dealer.. post on mopo and try that.. I have had
mixed results as peopel hem and haw on Buying as dealers , want detailed
lists then say Ill pass...But I love it as it gives me practice to
revisit inventory, discover stuf I have not seen it years and organize//
part of the process is stageing the articles.. so I consider wholesale
or package deals.. many things peopel never know I even had as some call
me and we talk..then other deals I contact former buersand ofer them a
deal dajour..but somtimes I just let the ebay route work as many peopel
just troll ebay that are unlikly customers...and europe and canada/// I
like to sell direct to peopel that contact me that Ive had dealing with
as I feel thatwont waste my time on field trips...since ve ben doing
this 38 years now... I have seen alot of tire kickers..one common thing
is dealers ask for a list.. then say ohhh thats too high.. what are you
compaing it too say?? they never have a abswer,, then I ask well if my
price is high perhaps I need to buy from You wheres YOUR list... the
seldom show me a list as my prices are fairconsidering all the
aspects...I just offered two great cameras On Facebook... 35mm old
schoolbut really nce shape and I offer postpaid,,, 45.00 a ae1-Canon
with a 50mm lens 1.8 and aFujica 35 made by fuji/chinon..both these
cameras are beautiful and will take great picturs on actual
film..perfect for peopel interested in photography and to ne they are
sculpture and where like 300-500 when new..its the perfect time tobu old
cameras as the market is very soft,,, but if you love cameras Like I do
its the perfect time.. and I just need to find someone withe the same
passion that needs one.. i replaced new 6volt batteries in each camer
pluus the canon has original manual and a flash and other extras and
even a camera bag,, and ill ship them Free priority mail USA only
insured and packed like the hope diamonds and include vintage Jesse
james drive in theater tickets..a perfect stocking stuffer !! I have pix
and also I take paypal. so great 35mm cameras 45.00 each buy one or Both
for 70.00 !! a super deal that wont break the bank.// also greg I would
suggest you offer items On Facebook.. so Facebook , etsy, craiskist,
your local paperr, and fan sites there is a poster site on facebook
