Has anybody seen or owned an original production still from the deleted gas
chamber seen in Double Indemnity? Specifically the image where McMurray
stares at Robinson from inside it?
I know there are exceptions such as the infamous wild card in The Postman
Always Rings Twice, but when a scene is removed from a film, typically are
all associated images and materials subsequently discarded?
I read where this was the most expensive scene to shoot so I would thing
there would be some original photographs of it somewhere, but I can't find
any sales.
