For me, this would go back to when I was 13 and my family had just moved to the suburbs of Philadelphia, where, in a short period of time, I saw two films which, together, changed my life: THE BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN and THE CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI. The experience of seeing these two films inspired my lifelong passion for films and for film history. Walter
