I have now reached almost 650 pressbooks for sale on Ebay. All of them are major studio titles and the majority of them are from the late 1940's through the early 1960's. Many of these have never been folded and are in excellent condition, as I have kept all of them in a temperature coltrolled room, non smokiong, with a dehumifier in the summer and a super size HEPA filter sitting right near them. Some of the titles include The Greatest Show on Earth, the original color cover edition, Judy Garland's A Star is Born, a set of 4 Psycho pressbooks (every single pressbook for the title from the U.S. up to Universal's reissue), the huge folder edition of Guys and Dolls, the almost poster size War and Peace, a near mint Casino Royale, The King and I and Carousel Fox Cinemascope 55 deluxe pressbooks, Auntie Mame with a very rare supplement. You can find the pressbooks here: http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=&_ssn=goldenhollywood4&_sop=10 Wow, I never realized how much work this would be. Scanning the pages, doing the listings, describing the condition precisely.....but I have to say I am having a ball. I just love pressbooks!
By the way if anyone has them for sale or knows anyone selling them separate or in bulk, please let me know. [email protected]. I have a personal collection of over 11,500 now.
