Chris Nailor at Heritage has been doing exactly the same thing with me and has never lost his cool, even when I haven't replied or have been a bit vague with my answer. After about four years and ten emails things have gone a bit quiet but I'm sure he'll be in touch again. If Chris or anyone else from Heritage is reading this I'd just like to say that I haven't forgotten you. For reasons that many middle-aged people know all too well (including looking after, then losing, ageing loved ones) I have put a lot of things on the back burner the last 3-4 years but I hope I really will be able to get my collection sorted out a bit this year and decide whether I want to consign some more items or have the others returned.
