Certainly Chris Barrie (who can forget him in Red Dwarf or Brittas
Empire?) saying Chitty would be his fav was a surprise, then again isn't
he a car nut? I was surprised the artist (forget his name) had not heard
of poster collecting as a hobby. Sadly, and perhaps showing my age or
lack of love for S Club 7, I had to look up who Hannah Spearritt was...

Yes I know ;-) There’s such a huge mix of attendees at the shows it
just goes to ‘show’ what some people class as desireable!
I’ve since become good friends with Hannah Spearritt and have sourced
and framed the poster she asked for in exchange for an endorsement for
the business.
Just deciding whether I want to do that with Chitty or Bond ;-)
I just wanted to do something that might drum up some interest on
social media.

Watched. Enjoyable.
Quite liked the long version with all the actors/interviewees saying
which original title they would like: Casablanca, Star Wars, James
Bond...Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles (?!)
Thanks for sharing.

Hi to you all
I just had a look at the posts to MoPo over the last six weeks or so.
http://www.filmfan.com/
There has been virtually no discussion or comment on movie posters.
The majority of posts are for sale or for auction adverts. There
were a number of posts were about Davids new auction site. I would
have thought that a new venture like that might had attracted some
interest but there was little or no comment or feedback that I can
find.
I gather that there are still over 300 members but Im wondering
why things have changed so much and why there is so little
discussion or comment about movie posters these days.
Regards
John
