Hi, Colin:
Yes, by all means, you can post stuff for sale! Just put the abbreviation FS in the subject line followed by an indication of what you are selling. For example" "FS: Henry V 8x10s Olivier" or something along those lines. And welcome to MoPo! Hello, I'm new to the list and don't have a good sense of list etiquette yet, so I thought I'd ask before posting, but my father was an actor (long ago--coincidentally he worked with Leonard Nimoy at the Pasadena Playhouse in the late 1940s; Nimoy died today ). He (my father) recently died and we have some things of his that I think might be of interest to people on this list. Is it allowed to post lists of items for sale? It's not a lot of material, but we'd like it to go to someone who really appreciates this kind of thing (not that I don't, but I have room for only so much). The main items are an original, annotated script of "King's Row;" a deluxe set of publicity photos from "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" (all large 15 x 19-inch photos, but also a few 8 x 10s of Laughton in make-up); and a few 8 x 10 lobby prints from Olivier's "Henry V." Is there an accepted way to offer this kind of thing for sale on the list, or how is it best to approach this? Maybe some other site or list is more appropriate?
