I agree. Very soft indeed. Many big titles not sold despite reasonable estimates (This Gun For Hire, Olivetti's La Dolce Vita, Some Like It Hot, Breakfast, Creature). Ignoring the original artwork lots, about the only surprisingly good results seem to have been for La Dolce café style and a Metropolis German herald.
Thanks Philipp for letting me know that there had been an auction. Maybe that was part of the problem - I don't seeing any mention of it. Another factor may have been the frequency that many of the posters - including those named above - tend to come up or have come up lately. One poster that did sell was the Star Wars UK Quad. There seem to be a suspiciously large number of them popping up in the UK at the moment - at non-specialist auction houses as well as places like Ewbanks. Hopefully not another Peeping Tom.
