Yes, she was a class act ALL the way. I liked her so much in "The Parent Trap" and have that one sheet. Now I am glad I bought the insert from Rich from "The Quiet Man". I treasure both. Stars like her are the end of an era when stars were quality people to admire and to look up to as role models. --Tom Pennock In a message dated 10/24/2015 5:21:11 P.M. She seemed like she would go on forever. Truly a memorable and wonderful actress, from her first US performance in 1939's The Hunchback Of Notre Dame. She was feisty, firey and so very talented. RIP. I enjoyed her work and was so very glad that she was recently given an Honorary Oscar. Evidently she particularly loved the music from The Quiet Man which was scored by Victor Young and included adaptations of traditional Irish folk songs as well as singing by her and other members of the cast. Her family had been playing that music over and over these last few days http://www.eonline.com/news/709887/actress-maureen-o-hara-dies-at-95?utm_sou rce=eonline&utm_medium=rssfeeds&utm_campaign=imdb_topstories ____________________________________ To unsubscribe from the MoPo-L list, click the following link: https://listserv.american.edu/scripts/wa-american.exe?SUBED1=MoPo-L&A=1 ____________________________________ To unsubscribe from the MoPo-L list, click the following link: https://listserv.american.edu/scripts/wa-american.exe?SUBED1=MoPo-L&A=1 Visit the MoPo Mailing List Web Site at www.filmfan.com ___________________________________________________________________ How to UNSUBSCRIBE from the MoPo Mailing List Send a message addressed to: [email protected] In the BODY of your message type: SIGNOFF MOPO-L The author of this message is solely responsible for its content.
