I was thinking the same, too, Tommy.

In looking at all the items, the LOWEST minimum reserve on ANY poster/ LC item was 100.00

This probably kept people away, who knew that certain items should sell for even less than even that min. reserve amount.

Hi Morris,

Just had a look at the results online and there do seem to be a lot of posters passed. Don't you think that maybe the estimates and therefore the reserves were a bit on the high side?

Movie stills sales especially strong with a very low pass rate. Convention was only moderately successful and some dealers did quite poorly. Future events will probably rejoin Cinevent. Great idea with lots of planning and heavy advertising but very poor local attendance. Socially great as old friends saw each other after several years but financially only a few benefited. We will keep trying. The Internet and getting older does not help conventions.
