This is indeed very sad news, I had been writing back and forth with him for
several years including phone conversations, I met him when I put on an ad
right here looking for the Cinemascope 55 pressbook for The King and I, and he
wrote me and charged me very little for it. He gave me lots of good advice, it
was about the time he was moving and selling off alot of what he had collected.
Then he started telling me his hands, arms and legs were losing muscle and he
was even having trouble typing. The last note I got from him was February 22
and her told me he had Lou Gehrig disease and was in bad shape. He didn't
answer after that, I am sure it was because he couldn't. We talked about
meeting when I got out to California for a visit. I will really miss talking
with him.
