Glenn The person is leasing an image from you, which is commonly done for a one-time publishing rights.
They are asking for the image to be 300 dots per inch/pixels per inch (DPI/PPI) as that is the standard for print—that and converting the image space from RGB (Red, Green, Blue) to CYMK (Cyan, Yellow, Magenta, and the color Kinske—or black, dealer’s choice.) Any of these adjustments can be done by the user, but you should give them a high enough res scan—set at the highest true optical DPI, to get the best file possible. -Daniel… P.S.—If you are ever swinging by West Hollywood, just stop in an scan it on my 18x24” scanner and I can process the image for you.
