Weighing in late on this celebration. MoPo has been a bright spot in my life, a
gaggle of geeks who are all addicted to pieces of dreams on paper that are both
over priced and priceless. I've met many new friends on this forum, I've
learned an enormous amount about our pet ephemera, and witnessed, especially in
the early days, some epic flame wars between poster nerds. I continue to slowly
build my collection back after selling much of it during a bad financial patch
and MoPo is always a big help in finding the Good Stuff. Someday, I will find
another copy of the INVISIBLE GHOST one sheet I miss so much and MoPo may be
the place where I'll find it. Congratulations to Scott Burns for being the
ringmaster of our sometimes dysfunctional little circus. Much love to loudies &
lurkers alike. There are very few of us in this hobby; 10,000 worldwide?...and
it's ice to have an executive lounge to hang out in.
May 2017 be the year you find your dream piece. I continue to seek out 50s
horror, especially AIP & Allied Artists titles, so if you've got something cool
at a reasonable price, go ahead and make my year.
Best,
Greg Douglass
